ARTIST'S STATEMENT "I try and portray the very essence of nature with careful studied attention to lighting, color and a sense of space. I hope to convey to the viewer a moment in time and an emotional connection. There is a story in the landscape and I enjoy taking something ordinary and making it important." She describes her work as tonalist inspired by 18th century painters such as Inness: overcast mornings, misty lake scenes and stormy seas." My passion is to capture the ever changing seasons in nature." 201-602-6246 deemick@optonline.net http://www.danniellemick.com/
